Pluses: + Price. Dual core cpu, 1 Gb RAM, 4' screen for as low as 120$ + Performance. The performance is really good. Never mentioned any slowdowns Minuses: - The main minus is battery life. It's barely live 24 hours with below moderate use (5 short calls, 10 emails, 10 messages in facebook, few photos). i would recommend you to install screendim app. it can reduce screen brightness lower than OS - low response from sensor keys. there is no way to use a protective screen I would also recommend to install CM10 for Pantech Burst. It's much better than stock rom.
My wife and I started with two Pantech p2020. we loved the phone but realized that the phones had out lived their usefulness and that we were craving more features. After one bad mistake of buying a Samsung Galaxy Appeal (sch-I827)good phone if you don't add any apps and use it just for talk and text nothing else. For me the phone was just to damn slow - sometimes i would have to wait for anywhere between 3-5 minutes just for the dialer to come up and the call made! Last month I bought 2 pantech bursts one unlocked the other was not. Bigger screen, 2 camera's (one facing one rear facing thats a 5mp). Did i mention that its easier to access the setting menu just by going to notifications and if you open the second menu in there you will find that you can get to the most important menues from there! what i liked the most about it is there is a pc client that you can download directly from Pantech. you can connect direct via usb or wireless as long as your on the same network. From there if you need to you can create back ups of all your apps - something i recommend that you do. you can also backup files and contacts, access your sd card and load music, apk's and istall them from the computer! Would I recommend this product to anyone? well why not and i have done better. Bought more for family and friends.Read full review
Hi, I tried to find inexpensive Android phone but with good features. So, I found that Pantech Burst P9070 and bought two because it matched all my primary needs: 1) It's supported by GooglePlay. So, it's not problem to get an application. 2) Upgradeable to Android 4.0 ICS. OS is provided by Pantech from their official web-site. You can upgrade it yourself but second phone which I've got is already with ICS. 3) It has 4G, WiFi and ability to make WiFi Hot Spot (your carrier must allow this first, for example you must have 5G plan on AT&T) 4) Powerful CPU. Oh yeah. This one has 1.5 GHz CPU. You never meet lag while using. 5) Large internal storage. 16 Gb internal memory, it's not enough? I don't use SD card and I've installed and copied to phone everything what I need and it still has 9 Gigs free space. 6) GPS reciever and Google Navigator which comes free with phone. I removed AT&T Navigator icon because it's paid. 7) Unlocked. My wife uses it on T-Mobile with no complain. Other thing which don't important for me but they impress me: 1) Camera is really good for that price 2) It has good slim design and light weight. 3) A lot of choice in cases (hard or soft) Just one bad thing is battery. I was surprised that it drained from 100% to zero for 3-4 hours even if I didn't use it. But problem actually not in phone. This is 4G which eats battery like cakes. If you don't use 4G just disable it. It could be inconvenience to enable/disable it every time. But I installed from GooglePlay couple application which control 4G data if I don't use phone or it goes to idle. So, with that phone could work about 30 hours. ThanksRead full review
Came in a sealed box with everything that was needed (as described). It came quickly from the company. It wasn't the right 4G LTE to work with AT&T. I was disappointed because it was the right size and I like the brand.

My first smartphone! It does everything the other phones do out there- but is only cost me $60! The only complaint I have is a short battery- about a day or two (I keep two spares charged), and it is not compatible with my carrier's data plan (Consumer Cellular). So I need to rely on wifi for internet (which is fine- but sometimes it would be nice to get online when not near wifi).
