The Pantech Breeze C520 has been a great phone for me. It will text and do some web tasks but I have both those features disabled by my provider. I simply want a telephone for talking, nothing more, that is reliable, friendly, and talks clearly. The Breeze has been all of those for me. I would highly recommend this phone for anyone who simply wants reliable telephone communications and is not enamored with all the bells and whistles of the more technologically advanced phones and the attention they demand. The Breeze is aptly names because it is a breeze to use. I rate the phone as "Good" rather than "Excellent" because the charger/accessory connector broke on my first one after two years use, but I liked the phone enough to buy the same model to replace it, and bought the Square Trade warranty to cover it this time. My wife has used the same model for over two years with no troubles yet. Of course, I do not consider one battery replacement for each phone out of two years to be any negative factor. If I had not had the one mechanical failure I would have given the Breeze an Ëxcellent rating without question.Read full review
This phone was bought as a replacement cellular phone for an elderly person who only needs the basic functions with the exception of also requiring the Bluetooth technology for hands free usage in the car if the car is equipped with the Bluetooth option. The size of the key pad is comfortable and the capability of enlarging text in the internal display panel are ideal for people with less than optimal vision. More useful functions are included with this simple unit. The cell phone is of a comfortable size and feel for someone with large hands. Only dislike about this model of Pantech phone is the lack of an external charging indicator light which the newer version of this model (Breeze II) has. Overall I find it to be a sturdy cell phone at a good price.
This phone is all you need to stay in touch. If you are looking for a phone for your elder relatives, look no further. It is easy to operate, has big buttons, and has a dedicated button for a speakerphone witha loud clear voice. It even has 3 dedicated speed dial buttons for emergency contacts. The set up is easy. You can even text message and browse the internet with it, and also it has a camera. The only downside it the charger port which would be a little awkward for the elderly with visual impairment. Otherwise this is one of the best ( if not THE best) phones on the market for older people.
This phone is exactly what I was looking for: large text for aging eyes, larger keypad for the same reason and flip style so I don't accidently place calls when it's in my pocket. Plus, it is bluetooth enabled, so I now comply with my state's new law about driving and using a cell phone. Yes, this phone is nicknamed "the geezer phone", so what?! It suits my purposes just fine. The only negative I would state is that the battery seems to need recharging more often than my old phone--a small price to pay for all the great features. It does have a camera feature, but I have not tried that. A very good phone at a reasonable price.
This is a Phone for Seniors! I like it too! My folks love this phone because of big buttons, large display and easy to use. It also talks when you dial. I like it because it is sturdy with long life battery. Our family chose a breeze system for everyone because the batteries and chargers are interchangeable. The "breeze mode" offers a simple menu with dedicated buttons for speaker phone and camera. Show this to your parent or loved one; set a few family speed dial buttons and they are good to go! If you want easy to use, easy to read, dependable and sturdy, try this phone for $49 or less at eBay.
