Black is the only natural licorice that's good for you. I like to leave the box open so they dry and are more chewable. I love real licorice and even a smart doctor will tell you the natural black licorice is good for you. It's the only candy I'll buy. I make the rest of any candy I'll eat because I use high (70%+) cocoa dark chocolate.

This is a molasses based licorice which is the truest kind you can buy. Most others have Corn syrup, Cane syrup, etc. and molasses are 4th or 5th on the list. Original licorice was a hard candy but when it comes to soft licorice Panda is the best (maybe a little sweet for some people) but I love it.
