This is a very large projector, we usually ceiling mount them at work. I needed it for a church genealogy class. At about 15 feet, I get a nice picture, easily readable with 2 out of 5 banks of florescent lights in a large gym and 2050 hours on the bulb. The remote is easy to use, and with an HDMI to DVI adapter, it easily connects to all of the newer laptops. I love the easy replaceable bulbs, and long life air filter. The focus, zoom and tilt are all manual, but they are smooth and easy to use. The dust cover for the lens keeps the lens cleaner than it would be fully exposed. The price for a used one of these is amazing, since I know how much they cost new. The one I got has a weird flashing red light, when it should be solid, and the fan stays on. Since I usually power it off at the end of the day, that hasn't been too much of a problem.Read full review

I had friends over before the holiday season and took them to a local hotspot. There was a ceiling mounted Panasonic projector showing a football game. I was impressed with the quality and hadn't looked into any Panasonic projectors in the past. So I took a pic of the mounted monster, did some later research on the model--way to expensive! My next step was to look into other models that fit my budget and needs. I found the PT-FW300U and ordered one. I conducted some tests with Blu-ray movies and was really impressed. Replacement bulbs are also very affordable. I have submitted some pics of my tests in the space that I use to host screenings. The projected image measured 18' wide by 9' tall. No filters were used to take these pics.
