Sounds crystal clear, and long range. The Bluetooth works good and so easy to set up. The call block is a nice easy to use feather. The lighted push buttons are greatly improved over my 5 year old Panasonic cordless phones, and easier to see even in the dark. The answering machine was easy to set up and works as it should. The LCD displays are a little smaller then my old phones, but are easier to read brighter and more contrasting. The ring volume is way to loud on it's highest settings. I turned off the ringing altogether on the handset in my child's bedroom. The voice volume control on the side of each handset works well and very load on it's highest setting.

I find the Panasonic KX-TGD564M phone system to be a high quality, easy to set up and use, standard, wireless phone system which can be used with either land line or cell phone service or both if you wish. It's 'call block' button allows you to instantly block pesky unwanted callers. The handsets are well designed with easy to read number and control buttons. The small base station with answering system is quite functional and very easy to use as well.

There are many good features I like about this phone. It sounds good, has easy "Call Blocking" which is a new feature for me and much needed today, and if you are a mobile phone person it easily transfers all your contacts to a directory and allows you to use it when you are home to receive your cell phone calls. Now for the features that need iimprovement. There are too many menu choices to do the simpliest things. I'm usually refering to the manual to set up a feature. I think the problem with this phone is that it has too many features that you really don't need. The directory is overkill with 3000 entries allowed, but with call blocking only 150 numbers. Surely 1000 entries for a directory would be more than enough, and 500 call block numbers would be reasonable. Overall I'm happy with the phone. Panasonic just needs to make the menu selection 1 or 2 levels deep and lose some of its over crowded features.Read full review
