I recently installed this fan in a small half bath in my home. I had to install from the room side, since my bathroom is on the first floor and has no attic access. Installation instructions left a lot to be desired (had to go to YouTube to find out the exhaust and electrical connection detaches from the rest of the unit for easier install). Once installed though, it is incredibly quiet! Takes about 10-15 seconds to start running, but no louder than a pedestal fan, and that's on the 100 cfm setting! Can't wait to upgrade my full bath with one of these fans.

The fan is very effective in venting moisture from a bathroom; it make very little noise compared to the one we replaced which only made noise. I had difficulty in installing it due to the way the two sections connect. The body of the fan can be removed from the section which connects to the duct and contains the electrical box. The clips are hard to engage when trying to install in an existing ceiling. I had to remove the motor to make the connection and engage the clips.. Other than difficulty installing, I would purchase it again and would recommend it

Like 99% of everyone replacing their bathroom exhaust fans I replaced the load Broan builders grade fan. I have 3” duct that runs from first floor up through second through attic, as a result the fan starts quiet however speeds up to accommodate extra resistance, so it is around 1 sone but it’s still 100% better than what was there. Note the exhaust outlet is a 4” Oval to accommodate low clearance installations. I made an adapter out of ductwork tin and aluminum tape. Also 100% installation from underneath! Will be buying more.

A renter complained that the existing bath fan motor was getting too loud for her. After failing to find an actual replacement motor, because the fan was too old, I found this unit online which was the identical size as the existing one. After installing it it was truly "whisper quiet". When the light/cover was installed it made a little more noise as the air passed through it but still fully acceptable to the renter.

Quiet. Easy to install just make sure your vent pipe is 4” not 3”. I like that you can pull out the guts of the fan and the electrical and duct fitting and work below the ceiling to install it.
