My setup is PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP Integrated Amp. This PrimaLuna uses 6 12AU7's....4 Tubes for Drivers, 2 Tubes for Gain and 8 Power Tubes (which I use KT150). It's the 2 Gain Tubes you get the Most Sound change. Tube Rolling is what I like best and looking at the reviews suggested a Hugh sound improvement using these BRIMAR CV 4034's. The Great Flying Lead to pin conversion is First Rate. Very Clean. I had replaced a pair of Telefunken ECC82/12AU7 Smooth Plates in the 2 front Gain Stage slots. If you know your tubes...then Telefunken Smooth Plates should be in your Tube collection. Once I replaced the Telefunken with BRIMAR (around 6hrs of listen), I then packed up the Telefunken as these BRIMAR's were not going anywhere. Nothing was lost but I had Grained an improvement thought out the sound range. Bass is detailed with a Slam, Detailed Mid-range and Smooth Top End. The Vocal's jumped out from the Speakers. I cannot wait for these to burn-in. I am picking up 2 more before the word gets out.....Read full review

British Brimars have no harshness - smooth without sacrificing detail. A very good natural tone and good soundstage. Has a better high end than most British tubes, sounds better all around than many European tubes, indeed is superior to most American tubes. If you are a fan of vintage classic British music like The Beatles and early Rolling Stones, this tube is just right to reproduce accurate ambiance and tonal balance. Does well for any softer Hi-Fi vocals. Highly recommended by all tube audio fans.

These are the best I have heard so far..... Put them in my Unico and was amazed. I have started by using tung sol black glass - great tube with a lot of rithem and detail, went on to try the telefunken and found smooth sound, used the Mazda exposed filament and recieved lively, punchy performance. Now put all the above together and you get this tube. This is the absolute top notch tube I have ever heard, and I heard many (some which I did not mention here - did not try the Bugle boy - too expensive IMHO) Run and get yourself a pair or more before they are gone. I already ordered a spair pair 😊😊😊🎉

Great tubes that don't have the darker tone the mullards have ,, great to listen to but not as exciting as others i come across, best for jazz though.

Made female vocals and horns sound good. Seemed to recess the midrange to far back, flattening the soundstage. Should be great for some systems.
