Wet shaving is one of my passions. I recently purchased a vintage GEM push-button SE safety razor. A pack of Treet SE razors fits and works perfectly. They're kinda expensive but well worth the cost. I highly recommend.

Look, it's probably really not the fault of the blade, but these are shaving blades, and wet shavers know what works for them, and what doesn't. Some prefer carbon blades, and get great shaves, and some don't. I found these blades just dug into my stubble, didn't slice cleanly. I sent the rest to a friend, who is a carbon blade guy. So I gave them 2 stars for being useful to somebody, if not me.

If you are looking for a great single edge razor blade intended for shaving and not scraping paint, this is it! I put these into a GEM micromatic razor that I bought at a flea market ($1!) and it gave me a super close shave and NO irritation, I didn't feel the blade. I will definitely purchase these again.

The best razor blades I have used in my Micromatic razor. Very smooth and sharp. A superior blade to the Personna GEM and the awful Personna PAL blades.

Blades are very sharp for shaving out of the box. I have used a Treet Super Single Edge blade for 6 shaves going on my seventh. For old single edge blades this is very very good. The trick is to "Palm Strop" the blade before and after each time you shave. Videos of palm stropping are on Youtube. Use great care when doing so as you are pressing the blade on the palm edge of your hand and doing a "pulling away" motion that helps to realign the edge of the blade. These blades are carbon steel, not stainless steel, meaning that you must dry the blade thoroughly after each use or it will begin to rust. After the first use the blade will start to discolor which is normal. This is due to the water reacting to the carbon steel, not truly rust until it turns brown so you're fine. I like carbon steel blades over stainless because the edge is slightly sharper and with proper maintenance can deliver excellent shaves. As always, you mileage may vary (YMMV) with razor blades so do not attempt to shave more times with ANY blade than you are comfortable with doing.Read full review
