This game falls short of Pac-Man on other systems and isn't much fun. On this system, I suggest Ms. Pac-Man or Mouse Trap instead. The graphics in this game is poor. Unlike other Pac-Mans where you eat different kinds of fruit, in this game there is a boring, rectangular "vitamin". Also Pac-Man looks the same whether he's moving sideways or up and down. A collector will want this game as I believe it is the most sold Atari 2600 game ever. Also, this game is good for detecting slight problems in your Atari 2600's color calibration. You should see a dingy yellow Pac-Man on a deep blue maze background.

While it doesn't look like the arcade counterpart, it is still fun to play and a must if you own an Atari. This much maligned port disappointed fans in its day, but if you take it for what it is, it is fun on its own merits. There are better versions of Pac-Man now, even on the 2600, but this is a must for a collector.
