This was my first "real" turntable. I previously had a one of the Crosley retro turntables. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but this thing sounds great. The platter being plastic is the only con that I can see. You will need a separate preamp if you want to hook it up to something like a sound bar like I did. Set up is easy and instructions are included. Pick this up today, with things like the included dust cover, tone arm counter weight, and ability for upgrades, you can't go wrong for the price.

I loved this turntable for about the first week when I bought it. Then it went to pot. Speed started fluctuating noticeably while it was playing. I tried adjusting it using the pitch control, but it would start fluctuating again. Have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it.

This unit was easy to set up, plays perfectly and is a great compliment to my components. I would recommend to anyone looking for a professional turntable to play those old or new vinyl records on.

Save up a little more money and buy a decent name brand unit. This thing is aweful. Its speed is never correct. Have to constantly adjust the pitch control. Bass causes aweful feedback when playing at high volume. Also so light weight walking in the room it's playing in causes major skipping even with proper tracking force set. The worst turntable I ever owned period. I've bought better units used at flea markets for 20 bucks.

Very reasonable priced belt drive turntable, has almost everything that a high ended turntable had, like you can balance and tune the arm, has pitch control, traction control, the cartridge came with it is good too.
