False Advertising! This unit DOES NOT have a CD player, even though it is advertised as "CD" in title and lists that it plays CDs in the description. Also, it is NOT digital tuning. It is a "dial" (manual) tuner with digital read-out. Since it is dial tuner, there are NO PRESET stations. The way you turn on an off the USB and mdeia cards to get them to work is also kind of goofy. Luckily, this is only going in my golf cart and therefore will only be used minimally (not daily, etc) so I will live with it since it was so cheap. But, once I get sick of dial tuning and messing with going from radio to USB, to iPos, etc, I will get rid of it and upgrade.
this kind of radios looks excellent when you think cd`s are old school, i still think that sd cards n` usb are the future music for my future grandsons but this radio didn`t worked the expected way it works very good if you have a 4 channel amp to use with,to be honest to you i won`t buy another one like because it does not have 200 watts output that is only the maximum power but at least i learned something next time i will read the little letters that normally i never read for exsample "!200 WATTS!" n` with very little letters 'maximum power'.
If you're looking for cheap tunes, then this may be the unit for you. BUT, don't expect Bose quality. I'll admit, this unit was VERY inexpensive. That's what I wanted. I used this to repalce a tired old unit on a Harley Davidson, so I wasn't about to spend big bucks on a radio that might get caught in the rain AND get shaken to bits. But what I was not expecting was the really poor quality. Sound is not important on a motorcycle, so this radio works OK in that regard. But the tuner does not stay locked on to a station and the AM band works when it feels like it. The unit does offer a variety of inputs and it does work - barely. Suprising for Pyle. I've bought other items from Pyle in the past and I have been very pleased, but apparently, this unit is at the bottom of their food chain.Read full review
I bought this radio because it had less depth and would fit in my Triumph TR7. The tuning and volume are manuel. I put some mp3 tunes on a thumb drive and they sound good. The radio tends to like strong stations and is not very good on weak stations. The back lighting is blue and it looks good at night. The radio has a built in clock which draws very little power and is a little hard to read but I do like it. I have my music on a thumb drive and that is what I usually listen to.
Works very well except for the fm tuner, its stuck and changes not. I just can't get it to work. The sd card slot works and the Am tuner and also the usb port. Sound is clear and crisp. This unit is very Good and with a name like Pyle, i expected it to be better, but it feels flimsy and cheap. The Tuners need work Pyle, change it from manual to digital and that should solve your problem.
