When I purchased this, I didn't realize that it was a card-based game. I don't generally buy those. However, I gave this one a try and found it strangely addictive. It takes awhile to understand all of the nuances, at least if you are new to this type of game, but the learning curve is pretty bearable. Good game.
i bought it thinking it would be like an actual fighting game, you know, a little character you control that runs around and fights. like assassins creed. NO! more like a card game or board game, you just move these little blocks around on a board and they win or lose due to placement strategy. maybe people who like d&d would enjoy this, i just know i was VERY disappointed in it.
we bught the game for my daughter fr her birthda. she enjoyed it but my son really took off with it. was a great game and was good quality
My kids seem to enjoy playin this game. They are 13, 7 and 5 and spend hours playing their Nintendo DS lite. This is a game they had in the playstation 2 and now they are able to enjoy it when they go out as well.
