It's quite thin and I had to add poly-washers to it to prevent vibration noise. It tends to move a little bit, but I have a Full Tower CoolerMaster box to put it in. A smaller case holding a fan to the side of a graphics card might rub something. For now, it's doing well holding my fan in place. In the coming weeks the added cooling will become very necessary. We're set up on a tropical island very near the equator. Summer heat will reach 115+ degrees F and remain there for days at a time. I would buy another if the need arose. I'm thinking of creating my own "external" cooling system if it comes to that. That said, the bracket is small and lightweight. It's holding my 120mm fan where it needs to be held - close to the card. Other than the minor issues mentioned above, this bracket will hold small or lightweight objects only. No heavy metal (or plastic), should be attached to it. You may even re-task it to be used as a wire organizer to give your box a clean look & feel. Enjoy!Read full review

Good product. My only complaint (well, not really complaint but more of an overlook on my part) is that it doesn't provide very much clearance especially on bigger cards. Otherwise, great product.

Bracket holds a fan over my HBA just fine. Had to position them carefully so as not to block adjacent expansion card slot screws but was easy to adjust.

I thought the frame was long and slender. In fact, it's thick and strong enough to support 120mm fan running at 1800rpm with no problem cooling down my graphic card and on-board M.2 SSD.
