If you're looking to build the killing Windows 98 machine, this is the motherboard to go. It does have compatible drivers from everything from Windows 98 to Windows XP; supports the Intel Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad processors; has enough expansion slots for a compact build (video cards, sound cards, etc), as well as support for up two SATA devices and four IDE/PATA devices. I'm pretty happy with my unit. Below are some benchmark results with my Core 2 Extreme X6800 processor paired with 2 x 1GB OCZ Platinum CAS2 DDR-400 and a BFG Geforce 6800 OC 128 MB video card: Benchmark results @ 2.93 GHz: - 3DMark2000 - 27050 - 3DMark2001 - 29397 - 3DMark03 - 10817 - Aquamark3 - 64985 Benchmark results @ 2.98 GHz: - 3DMark2000 - 30946 - 3DMark2001 - 29987 - 3DMark03 - 10870 - Aquamark3 - 64922 Benchmark results @ 3.08 GHz: - 3DMark2000 - 31926 - 3DMark2001 - 30600 - 3DMark03 - 10877 - Aquamark3 - 65125 Benchmark results @ 3.20 GHz: - 3DMark2000 - 32822 - 3DMark2001 - 31220 - 3DMark03 - 10919 - Aquamark3 - 65176Read full review
