the ear is hard plastic molded in, & you can't add a foam ear pad.. the ear hook is hard to get over your ear.. if you put it on and off a lot.. bought it for home.. s I always have to tell the caller to wait until I get the ear loop on..

I find this headset very useful for long conference calls while working at home. It connects to my home phone set which I can fasten to my belt. I can make long tech support calls and have free hands to type and do data entry as I resolve issues. It's a simple and corded and it does just what I need.

It's very lightweight and goes over my ear. I didn't want the bulkiness of an over-the-head headphone. I could no longer find it until my daughter found it on eBay. I was thrilled and bought TWO. I am very pleased and it was a very reasonable cost.

I had been using a similar headset from the same manufacturer for years, and when the old headset failed I decided to replace with the same. Everything looks the same in the new version. The problem is with the material they used for the ear hook. It is very inelastic, and if you use the headset, as I do, for hours, you start feeling your ear, and eventually you have to take it off because of the discomfort it causes. Another limitation there is no "Mute" control, but I knew about this one from my previous experience. Other than what I mentioned above it is a good headset for someone who does not like earplug-style sets.
