Superficial reason I like it: I do like the color scheme of white-blue-gray. It suits me. Superficial reason I am disappointed: I wish it didn't discolor from exposure to sunlight and I wish they didn't stop making this color scheme. Why I like and prefer this product: This Otterbox is well built for protection. I have a rough job and phones can die quickly with me if not protected. This one is also water resistant which makes a difference to me and why I picked it. The two snap-latches that lock the whole thing together are very positive and they keep the rubber seals together tightly. They are easy to operate, which makes opening it back up a breeze. Just pop those two latches to take the sides apart and remove the phone. I prefer this to the snap cases since I often need to remove the phone from it. I have a FLIR One thermal camera I sometimes use in my business and I have to remove this case when I use it. It really does a great job of protecting the phone from damage and water. I accidentally ran it through a wash cycle with my uniforms. My stomach dropped when I saw my phone at the bottom of the wash tub as I removed the clothes. Not the first time it happened to a phone of mine, but it was the first time it didn't cost me a working phone. Luckily, the tabs that seal the lightning port were pushed in. The dang thing worked flawlessly right off the bat. I still took the phone out and set the case on top of my gas water heater for the night - that closet will dehydrate anything. The thickness of it all may be too much for someone trying to keep things as slim as possible. If "sleek" is your desire then this one is not for you. The case is designed to protect the phone and it works great. The issue I have is that the front of the case has completed faded to a yellowish-white color while the back of the phone case is still completely white. Its very odd but it looks stained but it had nothing happen to it.

Not exactly stylish unless they come out with some exciting colors (recommended) it is sure milltary grade protection, tested myself with water did not leak inside for 30 minutes. Much heavier than any other Outer box that might be the only flaw, although Iam not worried if I drop it or get it wet now.

I recieved the otterbox and the case is in good condition very nice case however does not fit my sons iphone 5c, I am disappointed but wasnt aware that a iphone 5 and 5s was different in size then a 5c. So now im stuck with a case he cant use.

If protection is what you want, this is it. The cost is a phone that is more than twice as thick and generally larger than the original phone. I also lost some touch sensitivity though not extreme. I did have a screen protector on the phone before I put the Otter case on it. I am confident the phone can be dropped, submerged, and used in a dust storm without damage. It probably isn't bullet proof and I don't want to find out. I give the case high marks if the size doesn't bother you.
