Downgraded from a much more expensive GoldNote Babele system because I missed the warmth. I have running on a dual TT & paired with a vintage technics solid state amp and a pair of JBL L150a. What can I say... this baby is warm without being dull, direct without being harsh, has a lovely low end - pure analog bliss.

A simply warm cartridge with a weight that makes is well suited to entry turntables. On par with the Red or Blue sonically. Ortofon has been making these for decades and they should be priced like candy. Not comparable to ORTO MC or VMS which I consider breathtaking. If you can swing it, buy a Shure M91ED over this humble Ortofon.

Better balanced than AT 95 but less detailed over all I like the OM better. Tracks well but not easy to align because of the shape of the body. The Jico needle sold by Thakker gives a more detailed and open sound with less sibilance.

The OM10 is now no longer manufactured. The entire line of 10, 20, 30 was replaced by the 2M line. There are great deals out there on these as such. The OM10 is comparable to the 2M Red cartridges and in fact was in line with the 2M red pricing when they were being produced. It is a great cartridge design both visually and aurally.

I purchased this and immediately put an OM 30 stylus on it. It blows my previous 2M Red cartridge/stylus out of the water for sound and lack of surface noise. The volume is slightly lacking compared to the 2M.
