This is about the 10th "how to get organized" book I've read and/or bought. This may be the last one I need! These 2 authors really nailed some concepts for me, like "you don't have to organize everything right now!" They gave excellent real-life examples and had some good, solid advice on how to keep from being overwhelmed if you're like me and EVERYTHING needs organizing :-) Very chatty writing style keeps from sounding like a lecture. And the ideas are very practical. Like, "don't go out and buy lots of containers until you read Chapter 18." I'm using their advice bit by bit, and actually making serious progress.
Well written and dare I say organized? Easy to follow with direct steps for success. Doesn't talk down to you (which is appreciated by this reader). Breaks things down into baby steps for those of us who are organizationally impaired (my term, not the author's). Helpful for both your personal life (i.e. home, daily routine) and professional life (bosses can think just because you appear disorganized, you're not productive). I found this book helpful, and continue to refer to it for guidance.
I have tried organizing everything most of my life, with little success. After reading this book I finally got a handle on organizing. Her approach as to why you need all this stuff, and why you keep all this stuff and how it impacts your life was an eye opener. Easy to read, helpful I will keep it for future reference if ever I start to backslide!

I got this book hoping that it would have some good suggestions for getting my home organized, unfortunately though this book is (as the title suggests) for dummies. Most of this book is just common sence (things like, have a garage sale to get rid of junk, and put matching socks together, duh!) To be honest I couldn't even read the whole thing because it was just so basic. Most people could have come up with the majority of these ideas on their own. I'm sure there are some bits of decent suggestions in here, but you have to sort through the stupid stuff to get to it. I have no doubt there are better books out there on getting organized..
This is a very helpful book fir my friend who needed help to get organized thank you 🙏
