It's a good supplement to the Wade textbook, but no way can you fully rely on it. It has some helpful problems; most people use it in the begining to help with chair conformations but it also has some helpful tidbits that the Wade textbook doesn't include for the other subjects. Good buy.

I got the book to help me with my studies on this subject. The book is good for understanding the basics of organic chemistry. This edition requires you to fill in some information about elimination reactions and stuff but apparently the next edition doesn't.

i love this book! it explains things in ways you understand and gives you practice problems, steps, and answers. O chem is not a subject you want to mess around with and this is a great book to get you through.
