I was so impressed with Karen Kingsbury's books, Even Now & Ever After, that I wanted to dive into her other writings. I have a busy schedule, so I chose the stand alone titles to start my goal of reading all of her books. The 9/11 "series" attracted me because 1) patriotism is important to me, and 2) I work in law enforcement and can relate to how large scale events affect so many who are involved. Karen is very talented in weaving multiple characters' lives together while telling their individual stories. Her books draw me right in, and I find so difficult to put them down-to eat, go to bed, etc. I love the consistency in how much she values her family by giving them their own tribute, and honoring our God with her gift of writing. Her sincerity and autheticity are evident in her books, giving them a warmth and a desire to pursue the faith she holds dearly.Read full review
One of my places I really would love to go is New York City to see where the Twin Towers stood. I feel I need to see this. This book was an excellent one to read with a lot of feelings and emotions of what could have been. The author did a good job in the writing. I have already passed it on to my friend to read. I would also like to visit Somerset, Pa. someday also. I saw the book at the store and did not buy it. Thought about it and went back three weeks later hoping it was still there and it was. Anything about the towers I like to read. Joyce Wright
This book is one that you will not be able to put down once you have read the first chapter. I thought is was very well written and that the story had you really into the lives of the characters in the book. Karen Kingsbury is a very descriptive author and she has a very unique way of holding onto your interest. This book has some religious connotations but it is one of the best books I have ever read and I don't like to read that much. I read both books (both together) in 2 1/2 days. It is fabulous.
I bought the book because I had already read ONE TUESDAY MORNING - excellent book!!!! and I wanted to read the sequel. I actually figured the sequel out about 1/4 way through the book but I still enjoyed it. It's a moving book to think what could have happened and what did happen to so many 9/11 families. Bless them all! The author, Karen Kingsbury, is truly a blessing!
I love the author Karen Kingsbury and ebay is the best place to find her books. The book is about events occuring on 9/11 with a Christian based storyline. This book One Tuesday Morning and Beyond Tuesday Morning is two books in one. I just regret it wasn't in hardback.
