My mother in law was diagnosed with brain cancer in august of 2008. She was scheduled for brain surgery and the brain surgeon found that the mass attached to her brain was "very very bad based on a scale of 1 to 4 with 4 being bad she had a bad three pushing a 4" as he put it in his own words. He went on to inform us that she is being diagnosed as terminal with 6 months to live, at the most 18 months. It was devastating. My wife, her aunt and I broke down and cried. It was not the news anyone wants to hear. This book has given my wife some relief and support. I would buy it again. She raves about it and brings it to work to read on her spare time. This book has been an important part of keeping my wife in the loop so to speak.
My mother, recently widowed, has stated that this book’s contents have helped her in the grieving process. It has promoted the release of some emotions that had been unknowingly held in a bit. Thumbs up on this book!
