The Olympus OM-20 came quickly and well packaged- thank you! However, upon opening it, I saw decaying light-sealing foam material that lines the inside of lots of these sorts of cameras. My last Olympus had this issue as well. (This material keeps light leaks out of film). I am anxious about putting rolls of film in here without further investing in repairs for the light seal material (runs about $25-40 depending on where you go). The reality is that light leaks are already present and will become more so as time goes on. *This is no fault of the seller- the sealing material breaks down on its own.* The camera is, otherwise, in really good condition and as described.

The easiest compact 35mm film SLR I had used. The metal built and small size makes it an ideal partner for street photography. Normally matched with its 50mm f1.8 partner, it takes easy on the hands and fast on the trigger. As this was designed to the entry level market, the after market value (in 2011) is amazing. This has a dedicated ring to manually determine the shutter speed. The OM10 does not have this feature. What to look out for on a used OMG/OM20? 1. The grip. The glue often fails the rubber-like grip. 2. Often the metal rings for the strap scratch the body. The camera still works, but not nice to look at. 2. The auto metering/speed 'computer' may not be as accurate. You may need to adjust as you go along.
I love this camera. It is the simple, back to basics camera I have longed for . The standard 50mm lens is good for photos of friends, family, pets, nature, etc. I also recieved a 75-200mm zoom, along with a 2x teleconverter. The camera is in excellent condition and all lenses are clean and scratch free. I go back to my younger days and SLR 35mm cameras. This one is manual focus and the film advance lever, as well are the rewind handle feel good in the hand. I would recommend this camera for the beginner as well as the advance user who likes to relive the joys and beauty of the 35mm format. I have several digital SLR's, but still prefer my "Original Love".
35mm photos are still an excellent way of taking photographs.

Its an outstanding camera, when I received it, it came with a nice carrying case and was nicely wrapped. The camera itself feels sturdy and has a really nice weight to it. So far it's been working pretty well and haven't had any problems with it.
