Great WWII movie about the OSS - it is really great entertainment and a little bit historical too. You have to go into it realizing that it is not a historian's recount. The battle scenes and others are a little cheesy, but just accept it for the story they're trying to tell. The acting is classic with many stars, like Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, and Charles Bronson (Richard Johnson is great too). It is really nice that it is in color - gives a slightly different take than other WWII movies in B&W. The romance is pretty clumsy, but it actually gives the movie that goofy hollywood touch that makes it quaint. Considering that the CBI Theater is usually completely forgotten, it's nice to see a movie on an unusual subject.
This was an overlooked classic and one of many great Errol Flynns movies. It came with 2 other good movies. Really enjoyed Van Johnson i Go For Broke and Henry Nocamora ( sorry if the spelling is wrong) also liked him in Westward the Women. Never So Few had so many go stars it wasn't funny. Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, Peter Lawford and so on. Go the dvd for a great price and have enjoyed ever movie on it.
