I am very happy that our nutrition prof chose this textbook for the class. The book is very help and easy to understand with key terms defined on the side and useful charts and tables. I really like this textbook especially this edition, the 11th edition seem to be similar in content but the format is harder to understand, not as organized as the 10th edition.
I bought this for my daughter for a class she is taking, this is what she had to say: "Delivery time was fine...but the book smells so strongly of cigarettes that I start to wheeze whenever I read it...so I am still using the borrowed book. I also found out today that the edition 10 software is obsolete."
The book is a great book that teaches you the basics of nutrition and health. In today's day and age it is very critical that we are nutrionally healthy and we make better eating choices. I bought it for my college nutrition class
This book is very good for people that are going into the nursing field very helpful and the kit is a great asset.
This book is almost identical to the 2008 version. I saved a ton of money by using this one for my nutrition class rather than purchasing the newer more costly version.
