I used to use this frequently, and it worked great as far as "slowing down" my quick digestion and reducing frequency of bathroom emergencies, but I stopped using it because I started using Green Vibrance, which is a superfoods drink WITH probiotics mixed in it. It's about the same price, so I just feel like I get a lot more with it. Only thing Green Vibrance doesn't have is protein, and since it tastes awful, I simply mix the powder with a vanilla or chocolate protein powder and make one super drink that has protein, veggies, fruits, herbs, superfoods, AND probiotics all in one. Suppliments are a crap shoot
As I have said before! Suppliments are a crap shot! You have to trust the person that say they are good for you. You have to trust the person selling them to you. And, you have to trust the persons making them! All of which in today's society are questionable! How does anyone really know whether a suppliment is doing what you hope it doing? 8 months of of IBS-d and multiple doctor visits w/ no success until probiotic-10
Hundreds of dollars at the doctor and pharmacy buying antibiotics and zero success until I found this probiotic. 90% of my irritability went away and 50% of my physical symptoms were relieved by taking this product 3 times per day on an empty stomach. Now my stomach and bowels feel almost always completely normal but the export function is only about half way fixed. I wish it was 100% fixed but after 10 days of expensive hardcore antibiotics having absolutely zero effect, I am very happy to get on with my life as is with probiotic treatment with this product. Even if I do somehow fully cure my IBS-D I plan to continue using probiotic forever if my doctor advises such practice is ok. After watching a health program on TV, I decided to try a probiotic. The recommendation was to take a probiotic with 10 or more strains. I found the NOW probiotic and ordered it. I was very pleased with the result. Not only did my digestion improve, but the rosacea I had for years went away. So, I decided to try a cheaper probiotic. Well, that was a valuable lesson. My digestion issues returned as well as my red bumpy cheeks. The NOW 25 billion probiotic with 10 strains works great for me. My cheeks are clear, my yeast infection is gone, and my digestion is back in order. I'm over 60 and on a fixed income. This probiotic has done wonders for my family. My son has autism and my wife has epilepsy. I have very mildly autism and have some sensory issues. We call our family team neuro. We have all had improved digestion, less abdominal bloating, clearer skin, sharper mental focus and many other positive effects from just weeks on supplement. We have had some dizziness, nausea, mild headaches while adjusting at times during the first two weeks but far more positives than side effects and the side effects didn't last long. We are only taking one pill a day and having a big effect and impact. My son's teacher even asked what we are doing because the school can see such an improvement in speech and focus.
