In the process of long term gradual diet. 5 months and 20 lbs. so far. But, I do love popcorn. I realized that I would have to give up my pre-packaged, theater-butter micro-waveable bags and needed an alternative. Found a great choice. Pre-heat (run it for 3 minutes) and then dump in the popcorn. 2 major brands, non-GMO, on the shelf at local grocer and both work fine. No clean-up involved. Just dump the 1 or 2 (average count) un-popped kernels in the trash and re-shelve the popper. A little tip. Substitute shredded or granulated cheese after popping in lieu of salt and butter. The trick is to microwave the popcorn for a minute after seasoning to keep the cheese from trickling to the bottom of the bowl which always happens. Cheese adheres and immediately enhances the flavor of my favorite snack food. Great product!Read full review

This is a good product. It does keep the corn kernels inside for poppy much better than the Presto model but not quite as good as the old centrifugal force spinning type. (these are no longer made that I can tell). It is fairly quiet and the design is good. I would like a bit better quality for the plexi-glas clear shield and butter container.. They are adequate just not great. Overall this is a very good poppy with a very good value.

Gets hot pretty quick. Blows out some hot air yes and sometimes sends some popcorn flying since it does blow a bit hard, but nothing terrible so long you have a large enough bowl underneath. Makes a pretty hefty size of popcorn and despite having to warm the machine 3 minutes in advance (turn on, run for 3 minutes, turn off, load popcorn, turn back on), it pops the kernels pretty quick. Really glad I purchased this machine over another I was looking at, but I don't use it a ton, maybe once a week. I would imagine, like all products, if you over use or even use often, it will wear down quicker.

I bought this product because I like popcorn but it is a pain to make. This product is very easy & very fast. I would highly recommend it.
