I was trying to replace a quick messaging phone for my teenage son. He wanted something with a physical keyboard. I bought this because it had the keyboard and also because it included the Nokia maps. My carrier regards this as one of the "dumber" smart phones. As such, I was able to add the flat rate internet plan for "dumb" phones instead of the more expensive smartphone data plans. Nokia web site was pretty painless for support. I misled the web site by stating that we lived in the UK instead of the US. That enabled me to download the latest version of firmware, which was available in Europe but not in the US. After the download, I corrected our account profile to reflect the US. Fit and finish were decent and my son is very pleased with his new phone.
This is my second Nokia C6. I find it easier to text with because of the slide out key pad. As a senior who doesn't access the internet this phone suits me better than a touch screen one and it meets all my needs, although limited.

Excellent phone, it has a lot of application to use and functions that are really helpful. The only problem is that Operating System is really slow and some times in some process takes to much time; additional, i'm getting "Memory full" error frequently :S
Well I was expecting something better, but anyway it's nokia, quality is great besides the battery which remains less than 24 hour if you use radio, player, internet during a day. Overall I like this mobile!
this phone has nice features, but it's not good quality, i mean you can do many stuff like original iphone, and it's not functioning good, it just has camera like others, the GPS is just name also not working in here USA Chicago, so lets say it isn't functional phone or active.
