Great for someone who does not like the new fancy phones. Got this for my set in his ways husband. He does not want to use or be bothered with smartphones, touch screens. Great for making and receiving phone calls...a phone. This is about the 3rd phone like this he has had in 20 years. They are long lasting. Battery charge last him for 3-4 days. Battery does not have to replaced for about 5-6 years. Great (non-smart) Phone!

Bought this phone and you can't use it anymore. So I bought a paper weight and I feel they knew it. AT&T says it's 2g and they don't have a 2g network it only 3 or 4. Discription said it was 3g capable and it's not. Got ripped of on this one

I bought this phone for $25.00 used to replace my aging Nokia 6010. The reason I chose this phone besides the price is that it has a speaker phone. Although it has a built in FM radio, I have not tested this feature because it requires a stereo headset to work (my mono headset from my other phone would not work). Pros: Good RF section, very few drop outs. This phone works in places where other phones give a "No Service" message. It has a speakerphone. No learning curve for previous Nokia owners, I was able to use this phone without looking at the manual once. Very good battery life, my sample goes for two weeks without recharging (note that this is mostly standby time). Built in calendar is a nice feature. DTMF tone duration totally controlled by how long you press the buttons, an important feature if you need to operate a "Sine Systems" controller or similar remote control unit. Cons: FM Radio requires special accessory to work. Speakerphone must be used in quiet environment in order to hear it. A limited choice of default ringtones, but this does not bother me as one of the defaults is an old fashioned telephone bell. This is how phones are supposed to sound! If I wanted to hear music, I'd buy an MP3 player. Too easy to press the arrow buttons instead of the center command button, although I eventually got used to that. Bottom Line: While the con list may seem longer than the pro list, these are minor annoyances compared to the good qualities of this phone, and you can't beat the price. Even if you own the "latest and greatest" smart phone, it's worth picking up one of these as a backup phone.Read full review
I love this phone!!!! This is my third nokia. The second of this model. I have tried other phones and didn't like them. My first nokia I fell in love with because it was so easy to use after trying other brands. After years it was getting pretty beat up, but still worked, but my husband who is in to phones got me a new one, the 6030. It has been great. I have nothing bad to say about it. Yes it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, like a camara, but that is ok as I don't want all that. It is dependable, works where other phones won't get a signal. It goes all week without a charge. It is built tough, I don't want a phone I have to baby, I just throw this in the bottom of my purse and go, not worrying about what might happen to it. No you can't access the internet but I have a computer for that. You can download ring tones but I don't even do that, just a nice basic phone, cheap to operate. The only reason I have to get another is I let my current phone go through the washing machine. Actually it came out of the washer with it's light on, of course I was sick and let it dry out. Surprise, surprise, it still works, there is a line across the screen but it works fine. I just figured I better get a new one while I still can. It has taken a lickin and keeps on tickin. It has been dropped, accidently thrown across the room, been to the beach, dropped in the sand, seen moisture, it is scratched up and beat up, but still workimg. Easy to read screen, easy keys, great reception, easy texting, great sound, great speaker phone, it even has a place to attach a strap, most I've seen don't. A+ all around.Read full review
I bought this phone as a back up for the Nokia 6030 I already have because I just want a reliable phone. The Nokia 6030 cell phones that we have used are just that. This is an old 2G cell phone, which AT&T will phase out within a couple of years. Sound quality has been better in our concrete building than later cell phone models. We don't want smart phones, just a sturdy, easy to use cell phone. This is it. If you want anything else, don't buy this model.
