Wow...impressive.
I wasn't 100% sure I'd want to see a NIN concert. After all, most of their music is electronic and done by machines, so a concert would just mean people standing around, right? WRONG. I was amazed at how much energy the entire band had, and how it never wavered during the 1:45 show. There is a minimal amount of computer samples, and lots of real instruments. Trent Reznor sounds great live, which also surprised me. The guy is for real, not just the "sounds good in the studio" type. The visual effects are nicely done, although for me personally, are not as epic as Pink Floyd's "Pulse" concert that recently came out on DVD. The picture quality is shockingly detailed. You can see every tiny detail on the man's face, every little bead of sweat rolling down his brow as he performs. (aside: when did Trent get a buzzcut and a Henry Rollins body?) The audio is especially important on a concert film, and this does not disappoint. Sometimes live shows mix the crowd volume in too loud and I find it distracting, but not here. The mixing is great, and if you have a 5.1 or better surround system you will feel like you're there. For those with subwoofers, check out the song "Burn." If ever there was a bass tone that made the neighbors complain, it comes from that track! Great concert, great picture quality, great sound quality. You can't go wrong with this unless you dislike NIN. Edit: To the reviewer complaining about profanity: Complaining about profanity in a NIN concert is ridiculous. It's dark, brutally direct music and it has been since 1989. Did you expect Mary Poppins when you viewed this?

Trent shows why he puts one of the best live shows
When you watch this video in High Def you are able to feel like you are in the audience. The sound track is outstanding, along with great camera angles (no changing shots every 3 seconds for a different angle- which I find HIGHLY annoying in most concert videos). The stage lighting and effects used throughout the concert will blow you away. This is one great video and if I could have seen the concert it live it would have been one of the best concerts as well. Trent is an awesome talent, who can write, play different instruments, and sing his ass off. GREAT MUSIC, GREAT CONCERT, GREAT VIDEO!When you watch this video in High Def you are able to feel like you are in the audience. Nine Inch Nails in High Definition
- first. Got it already on DVD. And played it many times, and the set-up and quality is as always superb, but now as Blu-Ray comes more and more popular, surely the music videos has to be released on BD also. And as Trent is one of the leaders of trying out new technology, surely this release also have to be released as BD. And to my mind, it´s not getting better now. It is really wonderful so watch this show in HD. So if you have a BD-player or just a PlayStation 3, and like NIN, then you must buy this one. Also for the collection. It is really brilliant. Reznor in Perfect Form
This is a must own for all Nine Inch Nails fans, even if you're not particularly into concerts or live events. This live concert is so visually appealing, the artistry of the visual [virtual] sets is far beyong what you would expect. Trent Reznor is a powerhouse of raw energy through the whole Blu-Ray Disc. Being a Blu-ray Disc, the Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround sound and 1080P image are second to none. The video for "Only" directed by David Fincher is amazing and makes this disc a must own.This is a must own for all Nine Inch Nails fans, even if you're not particularly into concerts or live events.
