I've never used one of these for photography. Evidently, they were made to use with something called a Coolpix camera. Now, however, amateur astronomers are buying two of the things used and cheap, and putting them together to make an extremely wide field, 2 power, "constellation binocular." Fun, and a whole different window on the night sky. :)
