I bought this camera for hobby purposes and so far it has been great. Pictures are solid but for those used to simple point/shoot and automode cameras, you will have to learn to use its features. Which isn't a bad thing because once you master how to get the "perfect shot" under different conditions, going back to automode will feel strange. Weight and handle are very solid, the zoom is fantastic (and will train you to keep steady hands).
I am very very pleased with this camera. It's a quality product that's not a nightmare to use. The simplicity of a point and shoot when you need easy. With all the features of a professional set up when you want to be a little more technical. The Nikon l105 has made a believer out of me. 200% satisfied I would definately reccomend this camera. Well worth the price . I would buy it again in a second. Very pleased. Sincerely, Joshua lacroix. Maui hi.
Subject line says it all. Nikon's established high quality cameras well known. My acquisition of this Coolpix did not disappoint. Picture quality and relative ease of functions made this a good purchase for me.

I bought the L105 about a year ago and it is a great camera. I was a real estate agent and the wide angle lens is great for interior shots. Also like the telephoto that works well. What I do not like is no way to hook up a shutter release cable so taking night shots on a tripod is tough without moving the camera. It is really a point and shoot but with some good features. Overall, I feel it is a great camera for the money. Bought it at Target on Black Friday for $99.
I like it. I was looking for a point and click easy to shoot camera that took excellent pictures. I found it. The camera itself has a standard weight and feel. The mechanisms and the menus are self explanatory. It takes high quality pictures in bright light but I, so far, have had trouble taking pictures in low light situations. At the highest setting, a 16g memory card will hold over 2500 pictures. I'd buy it again and am very pleased with it. On a lighter note... the zoom controls should be reversed.
