Leelee Sobieski and Steve Zahn (from Joy Ride) star in this crime movie thriller about a couple who discover a body on a train and also find a box full of diamonds. They get the train conductor (Danny Glover) to help them get rid of the body so they can split the diamonds. Problems arise when greed takes over and they each try to figure out how they can keep all the diamonds for themselves. Its a pretty good movie, with some good action scenes, however the plot is pretty thin and it was easy to figure out the ending. Overall it was worth the price. Cast includes: Danny Glover, Geoff Bell, Leelee Sobieski, Luca Bercovici, Matthias Schweighöfer, Richard O'Brien, Steve Zahn
This movie is about a down on his luck train conductor (his wife is in permanent hospital care), a drunk salesman and a med student looking for a way out who discover a magical box on the dead body of a passenger who has apparently overdosed on the train. We later come to understand that the box is pursued by many throughout the world and that it has the creepy ability to present its worth differently to each person looking into the box. While the slips and falls of disposing of the dead passenger's body, dealing with those who come after and holding off each other's increasingly murderous greed, are often entertaining and occasionally horrible the film clearly pays homage to the famous "Maltese Falcon". Note that the dead passenger is Mr. Cairo (Peter's Lorre's role), the initial pursuer is Mr. Gutman (Sydney Greenstreet), and the conductor (played admirably and believably by Danny Glover) is named Miles (a nod to the ill-fated Miles Archer partner of Sam Spade in the original). While the characters are interesting and for the most part believable, there is a going-through-the-motions quality at times and the surprising subcharacters are totally predictable as, I believe is the ultimate outcome. A good ride.Read full review

I really liked this movie, didn't know what to expect. I mainly watched it for LeeLee Sobieski and Steve Zahn (Joy Ride) and it had me hooked from beginning to end. I think the storyline was pretty clever, definitely different than I've seen before with good suspense. The last 15 minutes were weird and kind of twisted. Don't know about anyone else but I found some parts just hilarious which made it all the better. Glad I bought this film!!
This was alot better than I thought it would be. Just remember when you find a mysterious box don't believe what you see. You will do whatever it take to make it yours.
