This is known to be excellent performer for static pressure demanding situations. Also it has very good noise to performance ratio for higher speeds (1000+ rpm). It has one minor issue though, its PWM implementation has range from 15% to 50% for rotational speed to change from 500 to 1850 (max) values. It is easy to fix just by setting values accordingly lower for a given temperature using manual fan speed control mode. No issues with controlling the fan by the voltage.

it has very good CFM/noise ratio compared to the other 120mm fans and it's noise is very easy on the ears it also has very good CFM/power ratio compared to other 120mm fans (1 watts of power for almost 100 cubic meters of air per hour) in addition the static pressure makes it very effective when restricted by a radiator these fans can perform better than fans of higher class (140mm)

I put two of them in a push pull setup on the H20 radiator over a 3.8 Kabylake clocked to 4.733 and it keeps it at 55-61c all the time playing games. I would never get the hassle and risk of water cooling after seeing what these things can do. At 1500rpm you can't even hear them over the other fans. Get a pair over your CPU and you'll be thrilled.

Because it's a PWM fan, it's easily controlled. I have no way to compare the sound levels (I replaced Corsair Air series fans) but it offers higher performance, and seems no louder. The only disappointment is there are no rubber cushions on the mounting hole to reduce vibration, but I can't say I have noticed any. The Corsair and Noctua fans are cushioned, and look nicer as well. Value is on a par with the Corsairs, though without the colored rings. Doesn't matter to me.

Use it for Corsair H110i - changed original fans to Nidec to make amd9590 a bit colder. Original fans doesn't do its job: cpu overheated and noise was around 40-50db. Now - silence!!! Cpu handles all heavy tests without ovevheating. HDD near by works louder than two Nidec fans at msximum speed.
