Good price and well made product that delivers on target Good optics that will hold up to a .223 or 300 AAC round many times You won't go wrong with this sight This is my second one because I liked the first one with its performance and easy to use When i get my next AR it will have another sightmark red dot

Received the sight from UnitedOutdoors, quick shipping. Mounted on my 7.62x39 AR - good eye relief, clear glass, cross hair bright and well-defined at all levels. Quick to dial in at 25 yards, then minor adjustments to put it on target at 100 yards. After an airplane ride in a padded aluminum rifle case, went to the range to confirm settings before the hunt - the cross hair was visible on settings 1-3, but not 4 and 5. Changed battery, and all settings visible. Fired 3 rounds, and the cross hair disappeared. Cycled setting switch and power switch - nothing. Fired another round, and it came back on. 3 more rounds - intermittent operation. Took it off and borrowed a scope for the hunt. Will return for a credit or exchange - nice sight when it works.

Bought this to put on a 7.5" barrel pistol build. It had decent reviews, but some warned me about the optics quality. I guess you get good and bad units when it comes to optic clarity with these. My unit sucked. It was "cloudy", and the adjustments didn't click, so you don't know how many "clicks" or MOA adjustments you have made. Mine also came insanely out of center. Compared to Eotech, this is a toy for a soft air, or BB gun. Maybe it would hold up on a rimfire? It will HAVE to work until I go ahead and spend money on a quality Eotech model. Those who stated in previous reviews that this was close to, or as good as an Eotech, APPARENTLY, have never been in the U.S.ARMY infantry and used one extensively. I gave up trying to get it to hold zero. Never happened. BUT, the .45 degree iron sights I had on the pistol also, held groups at 1" at 25 yards, 5.56 cal., w/7.5" Venom II upper, 883 L.C. Ball ammo, rested. 4.6# trigger pull. So,...not the shooter, but optics failing to hold zero. Nuff said. Roll the dice. You might get a decent one?Read full review
I like simple and use my back up sites a lot. With this in addition it really helps make the mark visible and easy to hit...

Great for the range gun. Easy to mount and held zero for the 200 rounds I have put thru it so far. Image is just as clear and bright as my Eotech 512. Battery life is advertised as only 25 hours, but its easy to change. Easy to mount and quick to sight in.
