This is a fantastic resource for studying God's word!! This is actually my very first concordance purchase, though I've been saved since childhood, partly because I didn't know how to use one. If you really want to dig in and study the full meaning of the Bible in its original languages and context, I highly recommend this concordance. You will be amazed at what you discover!

The Strong's concordance is a time honored book and been around for many years and used and cherished by Bible scholars. This one which was sold to me as new was banged up. There should be quality controls in place to prevent delivering damaged goods.

I bought this book as help guide to understand the Bible as my Bible does not have the column references. Any word that's in the Bible is in this book and it tells you every place to find that particular word. It also has a Greek and Hebrew dictionary to help you translate words. The print is easy to read also. It also has all the people of the Bible and descendants which is sometimes hard to follow, but if you ever need it it's there. If you are a lap reader this book would be a little awkward as it is a heavy, large book. But overall it's worth the money and a great study guide.
Every serious student of the Bible should keep a Strong's exhaustive concordance on their bookshelf. So many times there is a verse of Scripture that you would like to put in a lesson for Sunday School or Bible study, but you just can't seem to remember the location. This becomes more and more a problem as you reach your 70's. Not only can you find the reference in your Strong's, you can find other places where the same word is used. Then you can use the dictionary in the back to see the Hebrew or Greek word and its meaning. Word studies are made much easier by reference to your Strong's. Mine is standard print size so I keep a magnifying glass close by. The older ones printed by Nelson have the clearest print.

This Strong's concordance can be very helpful for studying the Bible if you take the time to learn how to use it! It's main use is to provide the Greek or Hebrew meaning for each word that's found in the Bible. What I don't like about it is, sometimes the definitions are unclear, and hard to understand; also, it will give many defintions for one word, so you're left wondering, what definiton goes with the word you're trying to find. Overall though, I recommend this concordance; I myself use it often, and it is very helpful if you need to find a scripture. Of all of the versions I've looked at, this one so far is the best I've found.
