Honestly, I have played through JC-120s before and I always associated them with that 80s bright chorus sound, but they have flipped the script at Roland. This is an anniversary year and so they came out with this amp and the JC-40 and JC-120. I loved the tone so much from this amp that I bought two JC-40 twins. They all have stereo input, stereo effects loops or mono if you prefer. This is a great deal on a small amp. The only thing the JC-22 didn't have compared to the JC-40 was distortion, but the distortion isn't that great and I doubt anyone would really use it much. The Chorus and the Vibrato are excellent and a headphone and line out jack is supplied. Another great feature is the series or parallel switch for your effects loop. Really surprised Roland. The tube amp gets to stay home now for the small gigs.Read full review

I could not be more happy with this amplifier. For an amp this size the tone is remarkable. The on board chorus and reverb have great tonal quality as well. The built in back panel features offer amazing capabilities. I would certainly recommend this amp to anyone looking for great tone and value in a relatively small package

Legendary clean tones. Amazing on board chorus and reverb. Takes pedals really well (in case you've heard differently)... and you don't have to break your back lugging around a JC 120.

For a little lamb, it sure sounds great! Nice sounding reverb and grade chorus. I’ve used it at big venues. There is a line out.
