I'll admit that I am only mildly interested in vegetarian cooking, however this book was the best veg book I've ever bought. The newer edition just didn't seem doable. The recipes were a bit trendy, and many of the ingredients were hard to find. However, this older edition makes eating healthier something even I can understand. The ingredients were all easy to find, and the recipes were a cinch to make. The Sweet and Sour Vegetables and Tofu was delicious. The Mushroom Leek Frittata was easy to make and put together. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants new ways to spice up dinner or a new arsonal of recipes for side dishes. This book makes being a vegetarian look delicious!

I love these cookbooks. If you're vegetarian, they're a must-have. They never call for seasoning with salt & pepper so I always do that, but otherwise every recipe I've made from here is great.
the book is in great condition, especially considering it's age. i was at a friend's house and she made a recipe from this book. i looked at the others in the book and they were great.
