the microphone sound is better than I expected. I only have the device for about 2 weeks, I use them for about 3 times. I am not sure how long the battery will last, so far so good. You may want to consider to have the mixer and amp into the system to get a better sound

For a budget wireless UHF microphone this Pyle model has great range. Person talking has to get right on the microphone to be heard...good and bad. Helps prevent feedback. The owner's manual says the microphone takes a 9 volt battery...though in reality the microphone takes 3 "AA" batteries. Excellent that the microphone has a low battery indicator on board so there is no problems during a show. This microphone set would get a 5 star rating from me instead of 3 if it did not produce so much bass. Bass control on my mixer has to be turned down quite a bit in order for the woofers in the club not to explode when a person is talking. For $74.99 on eBay for two wireless microphones these are not bad at all. Microphones look professional and do the job...just way too much boomy bass and high end frequency response does not seem to be all that of the AKG microphone that these replaced...however we saved a few hundred dollars by buying Pyle brand. For a nightclub drag show with much microphone abuse...these are perfect.Read full review

Very good sound quality, range, and features for the price point. Has battery strength indicator on the mike, and signal strength LEDs on the receiver. A bit heavy on the base reponse, or it would have gotten the 5th star. Receiver has separate volume controls for each mike, and an XLR connector to connect both to the mixer. Also has 2 separate 1/4" connectors if you need to use as stereo input. Mikes use 3 AA batteries. I discarded a similar $30 set that was junk. I use my system a half dozen times per year for Lions club and church events. This is a good compromise system for the amount of use I get.
I have purchased about 10 sets of these mics, for my own Portable Karaoke setups and for others. THey are a great deal. The sound is good, reception iis good. I like that they have dual outputs (some have only combined). the half rack size is great for building them into a system. They do not hold up to a lot of punishment, BUt at the price they are easily replaced. The battery holder cap can be an issue. it cracks easy if over tightened. These are great mics for the price, but take good care of them.
The old saying, "You get what you pay for is true." I bought this microphone system for my church because it was inexpensive. I had seen the brand online for years and thought I would give it a try. I have to admit, they sounded really good, and for the small auditorium in which we used them, they worked great - for about a month. Four, maybe five Sunday's, later one of them stopped working. The price makes them affordable, but the time and effort to deal with one going out in the middle of church and then sending it back for repair or replacement, is not worth it.
