This phone has a surprising number of features making it very desirable for home and office. It's "Blue Tooth" feature is fantastic and works very well between home and outdoors. I love it.

One BIG plus is that the distance from handset to base seems reasonable for me, due to the newer 6.0 DECT technology. I live in a 3 level condo and the phone sounds OK on all three levels, whereas my old 5.8 GHz Gigarange Supreme Pany KX-TGA650B handsets began to sound like I was loosing the signal just one floor away. That could be cause Google mesh network and creating interference static not to mention the old age of the Pany - KXT-TGA650B. The KXTGA939T 2-line system does an OK job. There are a few things I wish Panasonic had stayed with. (1) The overall handset is simply toy size. Why they didn't retain the roughly 1/2" wider and one inch taller handset is a complete mystery. (2) The speakerphone speaker is too small, hence low volume and poor quality. The same goes for the handset speaker. It is not loud enough and has poor sound quality. The phone's overall audio quality is mediocre at best. The keys light up. So it is another mystery as to why Panasonic has made cordless phones for so many decades. The use of Softalk shoulder-rests work on these little handsets if you place them at the top of the belt clip. The desk set style is good and laid out pretty well. The base display compared with today's phones is small. I will keep the system but would like to see a significant improvement from Panasonic. PS: I would be willing to pay more for a better phone.Read full review

I got this phone because my painter inadvertently plopped my previous phone into a can of paint. I have all the same brand and model in my home and I was lucky enough to find the same make and model. Of course, I am satisfied; that's why I bought the same phone. This was reconditioned by Panasonic and looked shiny and brand new with a warranty as well.

I bought the system and it has served me well. Ive grow to like it and really dont want to change it. Here is the issue. After years of flawless operation, one of the handsets began to die quickly. No problem, I just replaced the batteries with the Panasonic rechargeable type. Then, another one began to die, so this time I tried Duracell rechargeable batteries. The new Panasonic batteries failed after a few months, and then the same with the Duracells. So no I went and bought a new handset. Same thing, batteries die as soon as the handset is removed from the charger. I have tried cleaning the battery ends. I have tried cleaning the battery terminals/connections in the handsets, I have tried cleaning the charging terminal in the chargers. I have tried changing chargers. I have plugged the chargers into different outlets. Bottom line...I have this Panasonic system with base unit and 4 handsets. Replaced 4 sets of batteries, replaced 2 of the headsets, and it still does not work.Read full review

Great portable phone for our small business. Sound quality is very good, lots of features, holds a charge well, light weight. The clips can brake after about a years use, so be prepared to order extra, they are not expensive.
