This NESCO FD-37A, Food Dehydrator, uses 400 watts witch by today's standards you might as well toss in the towel on you're electric bill !! this thing is really noisy and is run from an old leftover 1979 disco hair dryer !! I know I could design something that uses 1/3 the electricity and 100 decibels quieter
