I'm no connoisseur of cell phones but this phone is a low budget home run IMHO. It probably pales in comparison to iphones & droids if that is what you are used to, but this phone has tons of features for the average user or cheapskates like me. Some of my favorite features are: mp3 player, 1.3 megapixel camera, up to 2GB of storage microSD card (not included but you can buy one cheaply), fm radio(you have to have a wired headset plugged into the headphone jack to use the radio--doubles as an antenna), bluetoot, & excellent speaker on this phone. A few complaints on this phone is the battery life & the reception are only average compared to other Net10 phones I've owned (3). Also, i've lost at least a half dozen minutes connecting to the internet by accidentally hittin the browser button,**** I just learned how to disable this feature***** select menu, select settings, select security, select lock application, enter 1234, select OK, scroll down until use see 2 browser checkboxes and check both of those (I think this is a security feature that is there to prevent someone from using your web browser). One last minor con is when you are trying to listen to music you cannot use the bluetooth for this, you must use a wired headset. Not a total bummer but I had hoped to use a bluetooth device for music listening. I'm going to buy another one if i can find one dirt cheap in case mine breaks(i'm kinda rough on them).Read full review
The delay in response this phone has is ridiculous. Texting makes you have to wait for each digit/letter to show on screen before you type another, or it will get backed up in the delay, causing you to have to hit your back button quite often. The back button is located directly below the designated "send" button, and if you're not careful you'll hit send instead of back. Many incomplete and misspelled texts are sent, which wastes MANY prepaid minutes. The sound seems like it has noise reduction built in, but you wind up not hearing barely anything if you're on the phone with a quiet speaker. The camera is cheap, and it takes no video. There is nothing exciting or worthwhile about this phone other than I got mine for $10, but it's a total waste, because I can barely use it. This is a classic example of a budget phone that was poorly constructed that attempts to draw people in with its features... which unfortunately, fall short in delivery.Read full review
I purchased this phone as an upgrade. I thought the motarola would get a better signal where I live. Unfortunately it doesn't. The quality of the phone is overall good. It does take a lot of work to get things downloaded, such as music, and files from the computer. The sound is great, after you get music downloaded. The best way to download is via bluetooth from another phone. Overall it is a good phone for the money.
What can I say. Its just a basic camera phone with music player. You're not going to get great web service or watch videos but its NET 10. Battery holds a charge all day. I dont think I would like NET 10 as a service provider but its been a good backup while my Sprint phone was in repair. Then again, with monthly plans starting at just $25 a month or $50 a month unlimited maybe NET 10 would be alright. I would recommend. The only wierd thing about the phone is that it messes up my TV when I recieve a call.
I needed a low cost prepaid cell phone and this one is great. It is easy to use has nice features and if you sighn up for auto pay the cost per min is great. I would recomend this phone to anyone looking for a simple efficient phone.
