I have never been a "self climber hunter" so I have owned many brands and types of hang on treestands in my 50+ years of hunting. I still own several hang on treestands, some from companies that are long gone and others that are still in production. The Millennium M7 ranks at the top of my list and I have owned several of the other Millennium tree stand styles, too. I am 6'3, 200 pounds and over the years I have found that my minimum platform size is at least 16" wide by 24 " long to be comfortable in sitting and standing. The M7 microlite is 20.5" wide by 26" long and weighs just under 9 pounds. The seat is very comfortable as you are not sitting on a hard metal seat frame where even the thicker seats eventually compress so you have to stand up at some point. At m age I now sit more than I stand and I have sat for hours in the M7 without any discomfort. I also prefer a "grated" style platform over the "slatted" style and the M7 is a "grated" style platform. The M7 uses the block system and it is very easy to hang from one tree to another especially if you have some extra mounting blocks already placed on different trees. You have two options for the blocks, one is the ratchet style and the other is the chain. The ratchet style will get the block to attach to the tree tighter than the chain's cam lock system but either is still better than other attempts at a similar system. I prefer the chain block because I hunt on public land and I can attach a lock to the chain together around the tree deterring theft. Once you have the mounting block in place, hanging the stand is a breeze as it weighs just under 9 pounds. The M7 does not have a leveling capability for the seat or platform but with so many trees to choose from where I hunt I have never had an issue with a tilted platform that is too unlevel for me to stand. I have contacted the company and a foot rest will be available in June of 2017 which will make this stand even better.Read full review

Stand is very light and easy to hang with the ratchet reciever. Very well made. More room on platform than i expected for such a small stand. Comfortable flip up seat. Will add a padded seat for all day comfort. Will buy a couple more recievers for extra portability. Saves money so that i can use just one stand with extra recievers. Came with lifeline and safety harness. Great value.

Extremely lightweight and easy to setup. Intending to make a few mods to quiet a few things on the stand but otherwise it's awesome. And it comes with backpack straps, a good safety harness and a lifeline and prussic knot with a carabineer, all of which would be expensive on their own. I also like that I can attach the mounting bracket first and then hang the stand on it. Super easy to do especially when you are up in a tree. Seems like the seat is going to be very comfortable too. Like I said with just a few simple DIY mods to quiet it down a bit this stand is perfect for a run and gun situation.

Can't wait to get this thing in a tree , love how the seat can fold in so it makes for even more portable packing in and out of the woods , some people gripe about the ratchet strap system , and the cam lok.. Very easy to use and is very capable of being set up with next to no noise , recommend for sure !

Upon opening the box, the stand, a safe line, and a quick attach bracket is in the box. The stand comes with a set of backpack straps, they are good enough for being included with the stand, but they are not great. The quick attach bracket is easy to use, the stand is of great quality. The platform is not large, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. I am using this stand for hang on hunts on public land, and for that purpose, it is a fantastic choice
