I have owned this guitar for going on 4 years now, and I have almost nothing but good things to say. Not only does it look incredible in person; it sounds even better. The small body and thin neck are perfect for my fingerpicking favorability, but this is also an extremely versatile guitar in terms of playing style. One of my few complaints is that the smaller body size does not always lend itself to very much volume when the guitar is played acoustically, although I suspected this would be the case when I bought it. This problem is completely negated when the guitar is plugged in. The Fishman F1 sounds lovely and packs a real punch. I love that I can quickly toggle through different EQ options. I tend to keep the volume around 3/4 full and adjust from the board myself (or have a sound person do it). The built-in tuner is fairly accurate but has occasionally put me in some icky tuning situations when it said it was fine. I trust tuners that show more cents detail. The grains on both the spruce and rosewood are tight and high-quality. My wood preference has always been toward rosewood rather than mahogany, and this guitar shows off all the best qualities of rosewood, particularly its resonance. I have played few guitars that were more resonant than this one! All in all, this guitar was an excellent investment for me and I know I will be keeping it for the rest of my life. I think it would be a good fit for smaller people like me for whom larger acoustics sometimes feel unwieldy.Read full review

I've been shopping for a new acoustic for a year (I've been playing a Martin DM dreadnaught for the past 20), looked at every imaginable brand in my price range, and finally zeroed in on the OMCPA4. I could not be more pleased! I love the body shape and dimensions (I don't find a dreadnaught 'comfortable'), has a terrific 'feel' and great playability, the craftsmanship is excellent, and the sound... amazing! The rosewood produces a clear, sweet sound, rich with overtones that add a whole new sonic dimension. No regrets whatsoever!!!

Great guitar. A little advanced for my beginner skill level but that makes me want to practice more.

It's a Martin guitar with a split on the top, next to the sound-hole. If Willie can play his guitar with a hole larger than a golf ball on the top, then I can certainly play and enjoy this Martin. AND, the sound is still terrific! Martin knows guitars - that's all I can say.
I love the guitar. The price was right and it plays like a dream. My buying experience was great as well. Dr T
