Best smoker on the market and a great buy to boot.
I'm a commercial beekeeper and these smokers are much better products than the beekeeping suppliers offer and less than half the price. Its a little thinner metal but that makes it very light weight. The bellows blows long, hard and is as good as the best smoker I've every owned. I also like that the top is slightly looser because I use pine straw and sometimes it hard to get every fiber stuffed into the body but the top wills still slip on without having to spend a lot of time forcing it. Yet not so loose that smoke leaks out. I bend the feet of the bottom piece down so there is about 3/4 of an inch under the fire allowing the air to blow under the fire and be more effective. Once you get a little fire doing this thing can be packed full of pine straw and will burn for an hour or more . ... $19.99+ tax, and very disappointing! I had also considered buying a VIVO electric extractor, but after seeing the poor quality of this VIVO smoker I am very glad I did not do that. Bought a one year old Maxant 9 frame electric extractor on CL for $450. The Maxant is a BEAUTIFUL piece of machinery. Am returning this VIVO smoker, and ordering from Mann Lake. The smoker at Mann Lake is $39.95, but hopefully a far better product than the VIVO. I will steer clear of VIVO bee supplies in the future.$19.99+ tax, and very disappointing!
