It was an honor to win the auction on these 3 knives. They were listed as "in poor condition, but I feel a Cutco knife is never in poor condition. They pretty much complete my Cutco collection of basic kitchen knives, not that I will not be tempted to avail myself of a good deal on other Cutco products. I am considering a cutco cutting board at the moment. Cutco uses a steel that is legendary for keeping an edge for a long time. An old timer I know acquired a Cutco hunting knife with a serrated edge on it and ground that off and resharpened it to his liking and used it in his butcher shop for years. Guess what, if you ever feel that a cutco knife is not up to par in sharpness you can send it back to be resharpened I recently took Cutco up on their forever guarantee and was impressed with the couple emails letting me know my knives had arrived and they would take care of my babies. I later got an email informing me my knives were on the way home with a tracking number to boot. Sadly one my knives did not make it as far as being refurbished but my paring knife looked real proud and spiffy for a 60 year old knife, The bread slicer knife was a little too far gone with a bad handle and a little bit funky blade. I bought that knife at the flea market years ago and was always happy with it's performance. To my surprise I saw a brand new knife in it's place when my package arrived. Cutco rules!Read full review
