I bought a Garmin Echo 301 from these people, but before I bought it I asked if it had the speed sensor and was told it did. After I received the locator and I begin putting it together I found out it did NOT have the speed sensor in the box. I emailed them and they said they told me it has a speed sensor. Evidently they either don't understand English or are out to make a fast buck by lying to you. On the positive side the locator works fine, and it is just what I was looking for even though I will now need to spend another $40.00 for a speed sensor. I will never order from these people again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I use my garmin for water temperature and depth. Finding concentration of fish and structure for me is tricky. I have two on my bass boat which work well. And the new one for a sun dolphin boat. I find them easy to operate on most things. Holding up very well.

I have been using Garmin fish finders for a long time. I decided to upgrade the one I had on my boat to a color display. I am glad I did because the screen is a lot easier to see in the sun. It works great and I am glad I upgraded it. The only dislike I have is the screen is hard to clean after a day of fishing. Its not a fault with the fish finder but with the water in the area I fish. Don't know what is in the water but when you get water spots on the screen and allow them to dry they are hard to get off. You can't go wrong with this fish finder for the price.
