Enjoi Skateboard Decks

Enjoi primarily manufactures and distributes skateboard deck products. Enjoi Skateboards was founded by pro skateboarder Marc Johnson in collaboration with Rodney Mullen. Many Enjoi skateboard decks are designed for competitive team events and a range of other activities.

The deck of a skateboard is the flat piece of board you stand on while skateboarding. There are two types. A shortboard is usually used for street skateboarding and doing tricks. The other type is a longboard, sometimes called a cruiser.

When looking for a new skateboard deck, an important part of choosing what width to purchase depends on your age, height, and shoe size.

• Full-Size: Decks 7.5" or larger are for skaters over the age of 13 with a shoe size of at least 9 who are taller than 5'3".
• Mid-Size: Decks 7.3" are for skaters between 9 and 12 years old with a shoe size between 7 and 9 who are between 4'5" to 5'2" tall.
• Mini: Decks 7.0" are for skaters between 6 and 8 years old with a shoe size between 4 and 6 who are between 3'5" to 4'4" tall.
• Micro: Decks 6.5" to 6.75" are for skaters 5 years old or younger with a shoe size of 3 or smaller who are under 3'4" tall.

Enjoi manufactures three types of skateboard decks, and these are found in three primary deck categories. The skateboard deck categories from Enjoi are:

• Pro Boards: The Enjoi Pro Boards deck line includes more than two dozen long skateboards, emblazoned with a black panda.
• Team Boards: The Team Boards deck line also includes over two dozen long skateboards. This deck line is decorated and also includes the black panda image.
• Complete Boards: There are over 20 Enjoi skateboards and Enjoi skateboard deck options in this category.

Enjoi skateboards and skateboard decks historically have been designed by leading skate professionals. Those who have designed Enjoi skateboards and skateboard decks in the past include Jerry Hsu, Louie Barletta, Dave Mayhew, Tony Magnusson, Bobby Puleo, and Chris Cole. There have been many highly regarded designers of Enjoi skateboards since the company's founding.

Both Enjoi and the Enjoi panda logo are the brainchildren of the company's founder, Marc Johnson. In interviews, Johnson explains that he derived Enjoi and the panda design from a dream for his skateboard decks. The skateboard decks from Enjoi have been used by skateboarding professionals since they have been designed and manufactured.
