I have 3 now. 1 with iron sights 1 with a little daisy red dot, the other a 4x scope. They are light, resilient, and quite accurate. I can hit a beer can 8/10 shots at 25yds with BBs, and the 2 misses were so close the can wiggled. YES that is yards. Secret? = 6 pumps max. Honestly 5 may be better. 8 pumps and over I'd spray the entire 12' x4' brick wall they were sitting on. At 10 paces, I can call my shots on the little steel 3 gong spin targets. Regular Daisy flatnose pellets, 8-10 pumps, I can whack a soup can every time at 25yds with serious authority. For a sparrow or chipmunk in the attic?, bluejay eating your strawberries? cat brought up a pissd off rat and got bored with it? no problemo. Goodbye. Squirrel size up? If you're really good with head shots, quality pellets, and up close with 10 pumps, sure. Mine chronograph at 510fps max on average with hunting pellets, and I prefer 600 up for small game. Out of all the sub $50 bb/pellet guns, these are the best bang for the buck. As I said, I own 3! (bought a 4th as a housewarming gift for an unarmed new country dweller!)Read full review

Daisy it a staple for teaching young kids firearm safety, hunting safety, target acquisition and proper respect for a firearm. From target practice, varmin like rats and mice to small birds and squirrels makes small game hunting easy! Multi pump feature makes this ideal starter and power per pump for some extra power to the shot!

Wooden stock & butt. VERY well made. I didn't even have to set the sights on it - right on target! Looking forward to hunting with it.

With bbs it is not very accurate at all. Have not tried pellets yet. Got a 15 year old 880 that is by far more accurate
