This DVD surprised me! I own lots of Leslie's DVDs, but this one is truly her best! It's non stop action and doesn't break between miles, which I love. And there are many different kinds of steps which really work the entire body. Leslie talks about posture and exactly how to hold yourself and gives many more great tips about our health. She does a little bit of talking to her group of walkers, but not much. What I also love is there's many older women in this and a 72 year old man which gives me inspiration! I am 66 and I love keeping up with the Super Challenge 4 mile walk, which is 60 minutes. This also has a Walk and Jog which I loved too, 30 minutes. And lastly, the Muscle Mile One, 20 minutes, really tones the upper body. The cool down is better in this DVD because the music is soothing and the stretching is a bit longer. You will love this DVD and by the way, I've lost weight since I've begun exercising with Walk Away the Pounds Intensity Walk. You can't go wrong with this DVD!Read full review

As a rule, I hate exercise! That was before some online friends introduced me to Walk Away the Pounds. This is the first time in my life, and I'm 50 years old, that I have enjoyed working out. I look forward to it every evening when I get home from work. I have several of Leslie Sansone's walking dvds. This particular one consists of three different workouts on one disc; the 4 Mile Express, Walk and Jog and Muscle Mile. My favorite, by far, is the 4 Mile. Leslie uses new moves in this one and it moves along at a quick pace. Walk and Jog is okay but not nearly as fun as some of her other workouts. The Muscle Mile is good too. This is well worth the money.
I love the options on this dvd. I can do 1 mile with weights for a quick workout or 2 miles with jogging intervals on a more energetic day and if I am feeling like a challenge there is a 4 mile intensity workout with faster intervals to keep my heart rate up and burn calories in a bigger way. There is always the option of combining workouts too. The instructor is very positive, up beat and encouraging and the directions are easy to follow so even beginners can keep up with changing steps. The workouts do not require any expensive equipment, just your sneakers, TV and dvd player. The background music matches the walking speed and that helps you maintain a given rhythm. I could see myself enjoying this workout dvd for a long time because it is so easy and simple to follow.
I love this DVD! Leslie Sansone will really assist you in developing a healthier lifestyle with this high intensity walk. I have worked my way up to the 4 mile intensity walk and it is wonderful. With this particular DVD she doesn't use the walk-away weightd balls but I use them in the 2-3 mile stretch to burn even more calories. This walk is not for amateurs but those that are used to walking at an extreme pace as well doing extra movements at the same time. You will burn calories, lose weight and re-condition your body if you stick with it. Leslie Sansone had a great idea with these DVD's.
I decided to get this walk to add some variety to my workout. I own 10 of Leslie's DVD's and use them 4 or 5 days a week so I need lots of variety. I do really like the 4 mile walk on this dvd especially. She's added some new moves which makes it more fun and more challenging. I have been doing these for almost 2 years but my husband just recently started walking a few weeks ago and he especially liked this one also. This is now one of my favs.
