Here's the good: It heats up, It soldered my Chinese guitar ground wires eventually to the volume pot, It took 3 tries to stick (acceptable). It costs six dollars, delivered. Here's the bad: the cord is way flimsy, way too light a gauge wire. (I was careful, it works). This advertised for hobby folks, it is not for all day use. Watch the cord, use it with a switchable extension just in case it gets too hot.

Good price, but you get what you pay for. Soldering Iron smoked very badly during first use. Feels cheap and not sure how long it will last, but so far so good.

Don't let the 60 watt rating fool you. It is a less than average two dollar soldering iron. Most low end irons are better than this one.

This iron is easy to use, lightweight and does a great job. Have been using it for jewelry repair.
